Filing

I'm slowly trying to wean myself off the filing system developed by the eminent Dr. Aegus Tossit Ennywhere.

I am now trying to put things in piles. I have succeeded in clearing a very large wad of papers off my desk, recycling about half a ream of stuff that I won't need anymore, and exposing a three foot square section right next to my computer.

Clearly, this is not enough. But steps must be taken somewhere before I lose something important.

Has Dr. Tossit-Ennywhere ever taught music by chance? If so, that'd explain one hell of a whole lot about the choral music library here at school...
I think my college diploma is somewhere in the pile of papers I shoved in the chest in the corner.
That said, my high school forced me to attend a series of classes in organization for gifted students who kept losing their projects and homework in the disarray around them. Only one of the people in there with me had a filing system at all- and he simply tossed things in piles according to what color they were.
Hey, I put food away by the type of container it's in: boxes here, bags there, bottles with liquid here, bottles with powders over there. It works for me.......
